Engineering Drawings and Detailing
Holly Steel works from the project architectural and structural set to produce a complete steel package. Erection drawings, shop drawings, anchor bolt plans, and submittals are all developed in coordination with the design team.
Each connection is designed to satisfy the loads called out by the engineer of record while staying practical to fabricate and erect. Bolt counts, plate thicknesses, and weld sizes are chosen with both code compliance and shop time in mind.
Detailing is produced in 3D so members, connections, and embedded items can be checked against the full structural model before drawings are issued. That up front coordination is what keeps RFI counts low during fabrication.
When the project requires it, we coordinate with licensed structural engineers to provide stamped connection design or stamped erection sequencing.
